What is the Mascot Combine?

The Mascot Combine is exactly what it sounds like. We took three of Idaho's best-known mascots out to the blue turf at Albertsons Stadium and put them through a combine built entirely around office equipment. There was a bench press, though the bar was a Lexmark printer. There was a fishing-related incident involving a multifunction copier that we are still not fully able to explain.

Nobody ran a forty. The equipment held up better than anyone expected.

Who are the mascots in the video?

Buster Bronco of the Boise State Broncos, Humphrey the Hawk of the Boise Hawks, and Blue of the Idaho Steelheads. Getting all three in one place on one afternoon took more scheduling than the shoot itself, and we're grateful to all three organizations for playing along.
