Production Printing Solutions for Salt Lake City's Market

The Treasure Valley technology company will bring its operations under one roof at 1420 E Bird Dog Drive, where site work is now underway

MERIDIAN, Idaho — June 24, 2026 — Allied Business Solutions, a leading managed technology services provider in the Treasure Valley, has announced plans for a new headquarters at 1420 E Bird Dog Drive in Meridian, Idaho. The site sits next to Vertical View Climbing Gym along Interstate 84, between Locust Grove and Overland Road. A construction sign now marks the lot as site preparation gets underway.

The new building will bring Allied's warehouse, distribution center, and company departments together under one roof. It is designed around the parts of the business Allied is investing in most: its managed IT and security services, its growing AI and automation work, and the national distribution of printers, copiers, and multifunction devices through its network of manufacturer partners.

"This building represents everything we have worked toward since day one. We started this company in Boise because we believed in this community, and this community has believed in us. Seeing that sign go up on our new lot is one of the proudest moments in Allied's history."

— Tom Beeles, President and Founder, Allied Business Solutions

Understanding Production Printing and Its Market Advantages

Production printing goes beyond standard office printers, delivering
high-speed, high-volume capabilities designed for professional-grade outputs.
These printers excel at producing a wide range of materials, including
brochures, flyers, posters, and more, with exceptional color accuracy and
resolution. For Salt Lake City businesses in industries such as legal,
finance, marketing, and print for pay, this means meeting tight deadlines and
high-quality expectations with ease.

One of the key advantages of production printing is its cost-effectiveness for
large-scale projects. By managing printing in-house, businesses can avoid
outsourcing costs and have greater control over timelines and materials. For
example, retail businesses can use production printers to quickly create
promotional materials for seasonal campaigns, while educational institutions
can efficiently produce course materials, newsletters, and event programs.

Choosing the Right Production Printer for Your Business Needs

Selecting the right production printer involves understanding your
business’s specific requirements and identifying features that align
with your operations. Here are some factors to consider:

  • Print Volume: Assess the amount of printing your business
requires on a daily or monthly basis. High-volume environments, such as
print production or manufacturing, benefit from printers designed for heavy
    workloads.
  • Color Accuracy: For businesses like marketing agencies or
graphic design firms, color precision is critical. Look for printers with
advanced color management systems to ensure high-quality outputs.
  • Media Flexibility: Consider the types of materials
you’ll be printing. Production printers can handle a variety of media,
including cardstock, labels, and large-format prints, making them versatile
    for different applications.
  • Speed and Efficiency: Evaluate the printer’s speed,
measured in pages per minute (PPM), to ensure it can keep up with your
    deadlines and demands.
  • Integration Capabilities: Ensure the printer integrates
seamlessly with your existing systems, such as document management software
    or workflow automation tools.

their campus operations to streamline the creation of course packets,
student handbooks, and event posters. This not only saved money but also
